WiFi Training announces a $50K scholarship program aimed at helping women gain entry to and grow in the tech sector starting in Feb 2022. This program will be accepting 25 applicants in 2022 based on their background, existing skills, availability to attend the training, and other factors still being determined. At least three women will be selected for “full-ride, tuition-free” scholarships to attend several Instructor-Led training courses delivered by WiFi Training around Wireless, Wi-Fi, Security, Networking, IoT, and Automation with a goal of gaining industry certifications.

“Training & Certification programs like these are incredibly valuable to anyone entering the tech sector, which show employers a certain level of skills when making hiring decisions, say’s Sr. Instructor Rasika Nayanajith (CCIEW / CWNE). I began getting certifications when I started with IT and have collected over a dozen over the years. They have been a contributing factor in my success. The skills you learn in these programs are very valuable to enterprise clients, and there’s a major demand for talented professionals.

WiFi Training plans hopes to award at least twenty scholarships when the program launches February 14th, 2022, the remaining scholarships will provide applicants with access to their All-Access Program, as well as access to their instructor team for mentoring and career path guidance.

Our goal is to help as many women as we can enter the tech sector with this program and hope the word get’s out there to get the applicants, we need to make a difference.  We try to give back to the community in many ways, but as a son, and as a father this program is close to my heart, say’s Chris Avants VP & Co-Founder of WiFi Training.
